Rosemary House is set in the village of Motcombe, just 2.5miles from the ancient Saxon hilltop town of Shaftesbury. An historic town, where you can visit the famous Gold Hill, as featured in the Hovis advertisement, and the Shaftesbury Abbey Museum and Gardens. Also there are outstanding views to be admired from Park Walk and Castle Hill.
It is 4 Miles from Gillingham which has a railway station on the main line to and from London.

Rosemary House is a recently built stone house which offers a high standard of accommodation and facilities where you will receive a warm welcome and friendly service from Annie and Paul. The garden, whilst not yet fully established, is very attractive with areas to sit and relax. Weather permitting.

There is a pub/restaurant within ½ mile and various other eating places in the surrounding countryside including a number in Shaftesbury Town.

It is in an ideal position for exploring Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire where there are many attractions such as; National Trust/historic houses and gardens, wonderful countryside, the Jurassic coast and many interesting towns and villages.
