Travelling from M25/M3/A303:
Stay on the A303 until Chicklade, where you take a right turn, sign posted to Warminster and Shaftesbury, onto a slip road (About 300metres long) down to the A350. Turn left at the end of the slip road on to the A350 sign posted to Shaftesbury.
Stay on A350 for about 5 miles when you will see a signpost to turn right to Motcombe. (There is also a sign to the Coppleridge Inn). Turn right and follow this lane for about 2 miles when you will reach Motcombe. You will pass under a railway bridge, then pass by a turning to the left before you come to a tight left bend. Continue round the bend and Rosemary House will be found about 450 metres down the hill on the left hand side.
Travelling from the west on the A303:
Turn off at the junction sign posted B3092 to Frome and Mere. Turn right at the end of the short slip road and right again at the junction with the B3092 sign posted to Mere and Lower Zeals. Follow this road right into the centre of Mere. When you reach the George Inn go past the clock tower (both on your right)and then fork right at the next turning. There is a small brown sign to The Walnut Tree. Follow this lane for about 4.4 miles when you will see the Coppleridge Inn on the right hand side just after you have passed over a railway bridge. About 50 metres on is a sharp left bend followed by (about another 200 metres) a junction, Turn right and Rosemary House will be found about 450 metres further on down the hill on the left hand side.
Travelling east on the A30 (From Yeovil):
Travel to Shaftesbury and at the Ivy Cross roundabout, at the junction of the A30 with the A350, take the 4th exit into the B3081 sign posted to the town centre and Gillingham. After about 400 metres follow the road round the sharp right bend and the next right bend and turn right immediately after you have gone under the A30 flyover (sign posted to Motcombe). Follow this lane down the hill into Motcombe and follow it through the village to the Royal Oak public house (Now boarded up). Rosemary House will be found about 100 metres further on the right hand side.
Travelling west (From Salisbury) on the A30 and north (From Blandford) on the A350:
Travel to Shaftesbury and at the Royal Chase roundabout at the junction of the A30 with the A350 take the 3rd exit (From A30) and 2nd exit (from A350) and follow this road to the Ivy Cross roundabout. Take the 1st exit into the B3081 sign posted to the town centre and Gillingham. After about 400 metres follow the road round the sharp right bend and the next right bend and turn right immediately after you have gone under the A30 flyover sign posted to Motcombe). Follow this lane down the hill into Motcombe and follow it through the village to the Royal Oak public house (Now boarded up). Rosemary House will be found about 100 metres further on the right hand side.
